At Picasso’s Garage we believe it’s important to have exposure to lots of ways to make art so our Summer Camp activities include a wide variety. Here’s a look at what you can expect; Drawing &  Painting: students working on a variety of different techniques including portraits, cubism, landscapes, cartooning and expressionism Sculpture: The students will also get to create a sculpture possible types of sculpture including wire, clay, found objects and relievo. Printmaking: There will be a chance for students to try different techniques for print making including printing on fabric, a type of lithography or making their own stamps.

In the summer of 2014, I began offering Picasso’s Garage Summer Art Camp at the Evergreen Brick Works. Our Summer Day Camp full-day programs are offered to children ages 6-14. Group sizes range from 6-10 students determined by age/grade of the child. Each group has a leader and a CIT.
Cost (includes all studio materials fees) 
Full Day (5 days): $425
Half-day (5 days): $250

Besides lots of fantastic art projects, students taking advantage of the spectacular location the Evergreen Brick Works has to offer. Weather permitting; we will partake daily in nature walks, landscape & nature sketching, outdoor games and activities.

Students will have an opportunity to explore a variety of mediums and will be introduced to many different artists, as I continue using the model of “a little bit of art history” to inspire each project.
